So I’ve been working on the pattern for the Garden Party Socks<\/a>, and I’m at the point that I need to add some pictures of the finished product.\u00a0 I’ve got a theory that the most famous knitters are currently the ones who produce the best knitting porn.\u00a0 And I want to be one of the best knitters, so…<\/p>\n

Can I just say that I’m so glad that people I know read this blog?\u00a0 Because there’s no way on earth they’ll tease me for implying that I want to be a knitting porn star.<\/p>\n

I’ve apparently also decided I never want to run for public office…<\/p>\n

Anyway<\/em>, it’s become time for me to take a few pictures of the socks.\u00a0 And I want them to be good<\/em> pictures, you know, really lush<\/em> and sexy<\/em>.\u00a0 I want the knitters who see them to crave<\/em> these socks, to go mad with wanting to find yarn and needles right now<\/em> so they can cast on and find the release of knitting this pattern.<\/p>\n

Okay, apparently my mind is stuck on a single track, and it’s not a great one.\u00a0 Why don’t you just look at my current sock picture while I give my brain a thoughrough scrubbing?<\/p>\n

(By the way, those are the new sock blockers that The Blanket Thief<\/a> gave me for Xmas.\u00a0 I had an inordinately fun time trying to hang these in various places in my house.)<\/p>\n

I’m thinking that the perfect picture for my garden party socks would be a nice spring garden in the late afternoon light, with lush greenness everywhere.\u00a0 Maybe hanging nonchalantly in a tree with budding leaves, or possibly tucked in amongst a bunch of flowers.<\/p>\n

The only problem with that plan is that it’s currently January, and we’re still a couple months away from new growth on the plants.\u00a0 And I don’t want to wait that long.\u00a0 I’m impatient.\u00a0 I demand instant gratification.\u00a0 I want my sexy knitting porn, and I want it now<\/em>!<\/p>\n
